Thoughts on using ruby 1.9 and rails 2.3.2 with the current
ec2onrails? Bad idea? More trouble than it's worth right now? Wait
a bit? Plow ahead?

Well, after an hour or so of experimenting, my assessment is that gem
support for ruby 1.9 is not yet sufficient. I'm going to back down to
1.8 for now.

same here, except i spent 2 hours.. :)
got stuck with gem support and rolled back..
