After the EC2 outage, my blork server never recovered.  Today I decided to kill it and relaunch a new one.  I followed the instructions the same as I did last time and it looks like it's up and running however when I try to login (not from inside my server) with the admin account I get the following error message:
500 Internal Error
Can't evaluate the expression because the name "username" hasn't been defined.

I then tried updating all the root files and I looked and the username and password are correct in members.root still no luck.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Andrew

Andrew I just tried this myself. Launched an instance. Logged on, went through the initialization dialog with the six items. Then logged on from my desktop system with the admin username and password, and got through. I was hoping I'd get the error you got and be able to fix it.

Unless I can reproduce it there's not much I can do...

Suggest you terminate this instance and launch another instance and hope this time you have the experience I had.

Please report back the result. And sorry for the problem.

Dave

Ok, I'll create a new instance.  Stay tuned for updates.

It seemed to work this time around.  Must have gotten spiked the first time.

Everything was working until I updated beaut.root
Now all the beaut pages return 500 Internal Error
Can't evaluate the expression because the name "customCss" hasn't been defined.

Still works if I go directly to /river2/

Cheers,
Andrew

Update radio.root too.

Sweet! That did it.  I had updated radio earlier but forgot beaut, so then I just updated beaut but didn't think to check all of them again.

Cheers,
Andrew

We should really have one command that updates all open roots.
