MapBean - SqlRow or more than that?

Yes - SqlRow is the direct replacement.  However, I removed the support for the EntityBean interface (those ugly _ebean_* methods).

I'll put up the code into HEAD shortly, and you can have a look at SqlRow and make sure you are happy with it.
