Well then:

Agreed:
1) Bean validation is nice.
2) Retrieving all meta data at start up seems messy.

Disagree:
1) Generation (in general) :)

So what exactly is lost from the removal of MapBean?  Only thing I had
in mind where it would be use full is stored procedure calls.  Which I
still think is useful.
