Hi Folks,

If you are using Autofetch... Ali Ibrahim (who invented the idea http://www.cs.utexas.edu/~aibrahim/ ) is looking for feedback to put into his dissertation.

If you are prepared to give some feedback you can send it to Ali or email it to me (rbygrave at yahoo dot com) and I can forward it to him.

Thanks, Rob.

FROM ALI...

Hi,

I hope you are doing well! I am writing my dissertation on Autofetch right now and I was looking for some real-world examples. I was wondering if you had any data on how Autofetch is used in a real application. For example, could you send me the cached Autofetch profile for your EBean website? Do you have any comments as a user? Feedback? Remarks about performance?

Please don't spend much time on this, if you have something then great, otherwise I will rely on the data and benchmarks that I have collected.

Regards,

Ali Ibrahim

I use it in production, I'll send you something in a few days.

By autofetch profile, you mean the binary .autofetch file? Do you have
something to analyze it? Or would you like to have the autofetch*.csv
file?

Cool.  No, I don't have anything to analyze a .autofetch file at the moment... so yes, the csv file would be cool.

To be honest, I'm not really sure what Ali is looking for. I'll send him my csv files and see if he is after other information.

Thanks, Rob.
