It looks like the rain will stop by 7AM tomorrow. The roads should be dry enough for riding by 8AM. Let's meet at Panera in Wilmette at 08:00 and plan for 50-80 miles. If the weather changes for the worst I will post a cancellation by 07:00 AM tomorrow. Felix

Leaving from Panera on Sunday at 9am to avoid traffic. Slight chance of rain. Will post by 8am if we need to cancel. 60 miles roundtrip, straight shot mostly, good safe roads and bike path, fast 15-17mph to acquire more bike clothing. Added bonus, mid ride rest stop at Culvers, frozen custard yummy, lunch at Potbellys.... more »

I will be leading my usual Friday fast ride tomorrow, Friday, at 9am from our usual, published spot, Centennial Park in Wilmette. Word has it that construction has stopped and the parking lot has been cleared of mud.

Hi All, The weather is unstable. There is a threat of thunderstorms. Accuweather has a threat of thunderstorms by 10:00 (Jay's website of choice). Weather.com has actually put the chance of rain off until 1:00-- so a ride is possible--but we will apparently have Thurs. and Friday with rideable weather--so I will not do a club ride today.... more »
