Subject: fall garden
Hi All,
I cleaned up my garden about a month ago turned the soil put down butcher paper with mulch over it. I put holes in the paper for kale, brocoli, bak choy, chard and brussels sprouts. I replanted my peppers and replanted beets that were too small a month ago. I stopped by one time a week later and did not return till yesterday. There were no weeds the bak choy was full size we picked brocoli leaves ( there were no florets) They were boiled and then sauted with onions olive oil and a piece of tomato. Most of the peppers were ripe. I guess it rained enough to keep things going. Several beets were now edible size. I noticed several people had peas coming in .Its cooler you don't have to water or weed. If more plants were available at lower prices. this would be the best time to plant!!. Tony
