Hollyday Festival at Rutgers Gardens-December 5, 2009

Join Rutgers Saturday, December 5 from 1 - 4 pm for holiday decorating workshops, hot cocoa, cider, gingerbread cookie decorating, and tours of our Holly Collection.  While there purchase Poinsettas, Christmas trees, wreaths, and fresh cut holly.

 

Workshop/Tours -Rutgers Gardens, Ryders Lane near Route 1 intersection

 

1 - 2 pm - Decorate a 12" wreath for your own front door.  Workshop fee $15 material cost.

 

2:15 pm - Tour the American Holly collection and other points of interest at the gardens.  No charge.

 

3 - 4 pm - Create a winter container to spruce up your outdoors.  Workshop fee $15 material cost.  Bring your own frost resistant container or purchase one at Rutgers for $20-$25.
