You say in your reply to Ketta that 'Version 3 doesn't run on Lion.'
I trust that this is not the case, since since I only purchased ED 6 months ago, and ED 3.7.5 is still for sale at the App Store, and no mention of incompatibility with Lion.
I upgraded my late 2009 Mac Mini from Snow Leopard to LION (downloaded from the Apple App Store), and EazyDraw 3.7.5 appears to work OK.
Please can you clarify your statement?
Regards
Peter

Sorry about that - yes the App Store version 3.7.5 does run on Lion.
another update is planned soon to fix a few minor things on Lion.

According to the web site version 3.6.4 is the "last release of
EazyDraw version 3, for users who have not purchased Version 4
upgrade. This version does not run on Lion (OS X 10.7)".

https://www.eazydraw.com/support.htm

Having only purchased EasyDraw in February with no suggestion that it
wouldn't be compatible with Lion (and also recommended it to several
other people) I'm rather disappointed to find I'm expected to pay $35
for an upgrade just six months later. I appreciate that you're
allowing a two-year 'grace' period but it seems a rather convoluted
alternative to simply offering a free upgrade to recent purchasers.
(And won't there most likely have been another paid-for upgrade within
those two years?)

Most likely - no there will not be another paid upgrade within 2
years. Email EazyDraw support if you think you have been treated
unfairly. The grace period seems to be fair to all and not have one
particular water-shed date. As with any software you can stay with
10.6 and stay with software that runs there. For the software I use,
I'm much happier to see a paid upgrade that embraces the new
technology rather than no support and to be left high and dry.
