assertThat for dates

Hi guys,

Have you ever considered adding some extra assertions for dates? I
haven't had a case for that but my friend asked me about it half hour
ago. I told him to use fest but fest doesn't have assertions for dates
(or joda :) yet.

assertThat(today).isBefore(x);
assertThat(today).hasYear(2009);

Do you think this could be useful?
