Swans At Klondike

   To whom it may concern:

 

We (Steve and Jeanne Fletcher) spotted four swans swimming in the ponds immediately south of Klondike Lake around 9:00am on Friday morning, January 27, 2012.  We took two pictures, from approximately 50 yards.  The pictures are clear but distant and the swans were backlit by the sun.  These are the first swans we have seen in the past 35 years.  It was a beautiful surprise.
