Summer Tanager Mammoth Lakes Photos

About 30 yards up stream from the Mammoth Museum a female  Summer Tanager flew in,   I  thought at first it was a western, when looking at the photos I tried to make it into a scarlet, a good birder in sd Id`d it as a summer,  under side of tail is green,  darkish in scarlet

pretty good birding spot if you come up this way    cassin`s vireo   wilson wa  number of yellow wa,  black headed grosbeak, warbling vireo and a number of others species
