Eastern Sierra Birds is a discussion of birds observed in Inyo or Mono Counties, California. Posts of birds in areas other than the Eastern Sierra will be removed. The easiest way to post to Eastern Sierra Birds is by sending an email to easternsierrabirds@googlegroups.com.  Please include the bird observed and location in the email subject line and end your observation with your full name.  You can post photos by attaching them to your email as jpgs.  The Group is non-member moderated, so please join.  By joining you may also elect to receive emails when posts arrive.  Please avoid describing the location of breeding birds and use caution when posting ducks and geese during hunting season.  When uploading photos to the Files section, please keep file sizes to around 100KB.  Birding locations can be found on the Eastern Sierra Audubon Society website.
