SIYO!  (shee- yoh means hello!)

We welcome anyone who has an ancestor or from ANY Cherokee Roll-- yes! any roll... all the way backfrom the first list in the 1500's-- and in between and all the way up to the Baker Roll of 1924-- and any one on any document like a school roll or army file that lists your ancestor as Cherokee right up to the 1950's--- EVEN IF your ancestor or yourself....does not have the required "quantum" to join another group like the EBCI or the UKB or is not on the "right" roll-- like the CNO requires.

so what if..... maybe you have a Cherokee ancestor but they are not found on the "right" roll (i.e. the Dawes, Baker or Old Settler's Roll) but they WERE on an actual historical document! 

even records like the schools or in the missionary records or the military rosters of Cherokees--

We welcome you too!

We are uniting all Cherokee descendants and protecting ourselves against those who try to stop us from saying we have a Cherokee Ancestor [like the 2009 Red Clay Resolution is trying to do]. 

We have the right to say we have Cherokee Ancestors!  We have the right to live as Cherokee people!
