Happy New Year from the 29erXX Class!

2011 has been a great year for the 29erXX and we hope it has been for you as well. Our fleets have grown around the world. Our regatta schedule continues to expand into new countries (we had our first regatta in Turkey this year). We continued to host alternative-format events with enthusiastic reviews from both the sailors and media. And in May we achieved ISAF Recognized Class status.

We've accomplished a lot this year, and are looking forward to an even better 2012. In particular, we will host our first World Championship in Lake Garda, Italy in September. This is a major milestone and we're proud to have made it this far.

Thank you to all of the sailors and everyone who has helped us along the way. Here's to a successful 2012 for all!
