I think the place in the 37206 building closed several months ago. Wags and
Whiskers definitely has great selection of good foods. It's in the basement

my cats are felidae (cat version of canidae) and solid gold junkies. no
purina in this household, thank you! i will check turnip truck tomorrow, as
i was thinking they probably carried the good stuff also. thanks again

Far Infrared Sauna Rental?

Hey Neighbors,
Does anyone have a far infrared sauna that they want help paying off?
If so I'd be glad to rent some time in it! Alternatively, does anyone
know of one in Nashville? The closest I've found is way past Brentwood
at a place called InHarmony wellness.

I've heard about Wags & Whiskers but have never been inside. The place Chris is referring to is over in "Martin Corner", in the 37206 building I believe. Down from Kali Yuga Yoga. Anyone know if that place is still open?

Wags and Whiskers. Great pet store! We started using there pet food
(California Concepts) over Science Diet for our pups and it has been a
fantastic decision. It is located in the alley behind Red Door Saloon
and the 5 Spot.

I'm not sure if the place you're talking about is open or closed, but they did carry premium food. I can't remember the name off hand (Pampered Paws maybe??) but I think the lady that owns it is a member of this listserv. Maybe she can let us know if she's still open.
What brand of food are you looking for? Turnip Truck & Whole Foods both sell Solid Gold, and you can get most other "good" food at Nashville Pet Products. There are several locations throughout Nashville but the closest one is on Cruzen Street. [link]. They carry Orijen, Canidae, Wellness, Innova, and lots of others. The customer service there is really awesome, and they insist on carrying everything to your car for you. Love that place! Another place to check out is Happy reTales in Brentwood (in the Publix shopping center on Old Hickory Blvd). They carry lots of premium foods and the proceeds go to Happy Tales Humane. I know there are more places but that's all I can think of right now.

Blankets for the homeless needed

My apologies if this message has already been posted by someone else--I
only get the digest and don't have time to look even at that most days. The
Metro Homelessness Commission is in need of blankets for the additional
homeless shelters being opened this weekend as a result of the extreme cold. If
