Schalkenbach meeting in NY

This weekend four Georgists from Canada will travel to NYC to attend the annual weekend-long Robert Schalkenbach Foundation board of directors meeting. The RSF is a multi-million dollar fund dedicated to promoting the work of Henry George.

The four of us -- Frank Peddle (Ottawa), Brendan Hennigan (Ottawa), Erich Jacoby-Hawkins (Barrie) and myself (Toronto) -- are elected to this (volunteer) board and serve 3-year terms. During the year we serve on committees that undertake the work of the organization (funding books, articles, publications, academic journals, video production, sponsoring conferences and organizations,...

Once a year the Board meets face to face. We're particularly proud of Frank Peddle, as he is the president of the RSF.
