Are you a nonprofit working on conservation issues, and based in or near Boulder, Colorado? (If no, you may stop reading now...)
An exciting opportunity is coming up in Boulder, Colorado next week, on October 8th: afree Google Workshop: Mapping Conservation, a special one-day hands-on workshop hosted by Google Earth Outreach and LightHawk, at the Google office in Boulder, Colorado. This workshop is designed for individuals from conservation and environmental nonprofit organizations who would benefit from mapping.
You are invited to attend, where you will learn techniques for using Google Earth and Google Maps to map conservation information, including photos, videos, and other data from your LightHawk flight!
What: Google Mapping Workshop: Mapping Conservation When: October 8, 2012, 9:30am - 4:00pm Where: Google Office at 2590 Pearl Street, Boulder, CO (map) Participation: To ensure an effective hands-on experience, there will be a limited number of seats. Interested candidates will be asked to apply to attend the workshop. Cost: Attendance is free, pending approval through Google’s application process.
