Stand alone version of Earth?

Google Earth available. I'm looking to use it on closed systems that

Google Earth Pro Academic license prompts each user for license key

Doesn't that mean we can install it on 72 machines and different users
should be able to log on and use the licenses only on those 72
machines? Maybe I don't understand Google licensing.

I have a PC with Google Earth Pro installed. The images/graphics on
that PC is not clear when I use Google Earth Pro. Images/graphics on
look fine and clear when I am just using google maps online. Is there

editing shp file data

Accessing Google Earth from a Link.

City contains 9 high detailed blocks with over 44 high detailed
skyscrapers and buildings.
Scene was done with 3Ds Max version 8.

Smoother Movie

best way to capture movies that end up being smooth.....basically
capture all the frames independently and we can easily turn those into

Rotating the Earth

Elevation Error in Google Earth Pro

When I view Mt McKinley in Alaska in Earth Pro, the terrain elevation
max's out at 17,157'. Mt McKinley's true elevation is 20,138'. Are
there other gross elevation errors in the database? Is this a
function of Latitude? My programming is very sensitive to elevation
and things like this will break my work.

a) Custom layer pallates: We can already do this with our folders,
polygons, images etc. I usually don't care about the Wikipedia layer
and many (very many) others. I could remove them from my pallate to
simplify access to the layers I actually DO use.

Subscription renewal

In Google Earth Pro 4.2.0205.5730 when i choose to "Save Image" at
High or Premium resolution, the .jpg file is successfully created and
saved to the desktop. However, upon inspecting the picture, there is
a consistent and repeating visual artifact: a square of image that is

I think I've text-edited (with notebook) the placemarks when I've
worked on Google Earth earlier, but can't remember how I did it. If I
try to open a .KMZ file in notepad, the text is all garbled.

Movie + pictures

I have added one picture per spot. That works perfect. The problem is
when I record a movie, after clicking on the hyperlink, the picture
does not show up. Just the blank frame.
I tried WMV-9 High Quality Video (16mbps) and Windows Media Video 8
for Local Area Network (100 kbps), both on a 800x600 resolution.
