Subject: Alternate grey-green terrain 'surface' for Google Earth??
I am trying to create some 'dummy' sequences - flying through the
Rockies - in Google Earth.  This is for an animated IMAX sequence.  We
want to design all the moves in Google Earth, then pass them on to the
animation people.

We would like to be able to superimpose the beautiful grey-green
'terrain' surface from Google Maps onto the Google Earth 3D
surface ... to be able to fly through the Rockies in a sort of surreal
'map-like' terrain.

Does such a terrain exist?  Is there a way to contact Google Earth/
Maps to ask them about this?  Perhaps the grey-green 'terrain/map' 3D
surface already exists ... and we simply need to purchase or license
it from Google Earth?

Any suggestion would be most appreciated.

Ben
