There were many posts about this, will it now come ?
To Google : 3Dconnection devices It will make Google Earth even more
popular to Linux users (I tried it with Windows, great, but don't use
Windows anymore), 3Dc drivers are there, so go ;-)
To 3DConnection : Google Earth being very easy to install under Linux,
it will make your devices much more popular to Linux users (just a few
apps supported under Linux yet)
So I think both will win, and especially the Linux community who will
profit from that.
So please, it's a desperate shout to Google and 3Dconnexion.
I hope many will joinn and comment, the more do, the more chances we
get to have Google Earth support 3Dconnection !!!!
Well OK, probably everyone gave it up, thinking that Google doesen't
care about Linux community :-/
Google is used to reward Developpers for challenges; let me put this
challenge to Google ;-)
Google, I will donate CHF35 (approx. USD 30) to an OpenSource Project
of your choice if you achive to implement support for 3Dconnection
Devices in Google Earth for Linux (I know it's not much but I don't
have as much money as you. Time frame, let's say 3 months or so ? Will
you respond to it or is there no interest ?
