I have read some responses to issues of the images being outdated, but
somehow, someone is not getting it. A three year old image is not
acceptable in an urban area. It makes GoogleEarth unreliable. In
Reno there have been significant changes which don't show in
GoogleEarth including an entire High School campus (Bishop Manogue HS)
that was torn down in 2004/05 and the image show it in active use, so
it must be at least four years old. I have added Microsoft
VirtualEarth on my computer because the images are less than one year
old. I am wondering if Google has backed itself into a corner and
can't update the images because added features would be compromised if
the older images deleted. Regardless, if Google fails to get and keep
the images updated then GoogleEarth is a 2002 product in a 2009 world.
