Post Graduate Diploma in EAL

Hello Colleagues

Just a reminder that we are excited to launch our new Post Graduate Diploma in EAL at the University of Oxford, starting this October. 

This one-year part time and mostly online course is designed for practitioners working with, or closely aligned to, multilingual children in educational settings. It consists of two taught modules and an independent study/dissertation and offers a formal qualification in EAL.

It can be taken from anywhere in the world and is designed to fit around the busy work-life of practicing educators and policy makers. The focus is on understanding evidence in the EAL field, and applying it to policy and practice in educational settings.

Modules are characterised by a variety of self-paced online activities and regular tutorials with an academic supervisor drawn from the Applied Linguistics research group at the Department of Education.
