The next issue of Primary History (Historical Association's termly journal of good practice) which I'm co-editing will be devoted to the theme of Diversity. This is the journal the secretary of state for education recently lambasted along with allegations re history and Mr. Men. The aim is to cover a range of "diversity" including black histories, working class lives, disability pioneers etc.

We're looking for articles about topics which would fit under the following themes* (see below)- we hope to get at least one or more examples from each. I wondered if you could contribute, or encourage or suggest any schools we could approach to contribute - either in the form of an article, or a feature based on doing an interview with an agreed result. Perhaps there are relevant community projects you might be involved in?

I'm keen to find examples of school twinning / sharing community/diverse histories with different regions of the country, as well as local community history topics and work on significant people from Britain and the wider world!  Please get in touch if you would like a full list of possible topics, or if you want to explore further by phone or email.

Regards
