Navistars first electric trucks leave Wakarusa, Indiana
Navistar International ushered in Indiana's modern electric vehicle era Thursday with a ceremony marking the production of the first electric trucks made here in more than a century. Four of the first eStar electric trucks assembled in Wakarusa in Northern Indiana are being delivered to FedEx for use on regular routes in Los Angeles, officials at FedEx and Navistar said.
