I would like to commend two professional young JROTC Cadets: Cadets Cofer and Patel.  These two students provided exceptional assistance to me and Chapter 445 of the Experimental Aircrfat Association last Saturday at the Cairo Airport.  Chapter 445 was conducting their first YE at Cairo and needed some experienced help with registration and coordination with flyers.  Cadets Cofer and Patel agreed to help me with these tasks, and did so exceptionally well.  They wore JROTC shirts and represented JROTC, BHS, and Decatur County Schools in a professional manner: courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable.  I wanted each of you to know these young guys gave up seven hours of their Saturday to help a neighboring community with their first ever Young Eagles program.

I look forward to seeing Cadets Cofer and Patel, and numerous other cadets and Decatur County students, when we renew our local Young Eagles flying event:  SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 8:30 AM-1 PM.

Very Respectfully,

Colonel (Ret) Gary Breedlove
County Administrator
