New issue 153 by lyleh...@gmail.com: Ecomorph and Xrandr Issue

I compiled ecomorph with efl 1.0. Ecomorph works perfect in my laptop,
which is Thinkpad T60 and its resolution is 1400x1050. However, I found an
issue with xrandr. When I use an external monitor HP LP2475w from a dock,
and the monitor's resolution is 1920X1200, and use the following command to
turn it on.
xrandr --output DVI-0 --mode 1920x1200 --output LVDS --off
The screen shows black sections in the right and bottom border, as shown in
the attach file. The cursor can move in the black sections. I stopped
ecomorph, the black section shows in the upper border. I started ecomorph
again, everything works except that guake doesn't have transparency.
Debian Squeeze, Radeon.

sorry I stopped developing ecomorph in favour of e17s own comp module. if
you use the free radeon drivers comp module should work just as fast if not
faster in some aspects. there is now also comp-scale in e-modules-extra
which provides the scale and expo effect of ecomorph. chances are low that
I will dig anytime soon into ecomorph code again.
Hannes,
For future reference should i bother to install ecomorph for e17? For
future installations that is....
