Runtime Error: R6034 in DynAdvance 1.3 (build 397)

Does anyone else get the following error message upon loading
DynAdvance 1.3 (build 397)? Whenever I open the program, the
following error message box pops up and must be clicked away three
times. (The program works as intended after that):

incorrectly.

I have emailed the author and did not receive a reply back. I
previously paid for DynAdvance before it became freeware, and the
previous builds did not contain this bug. According to the following
page at Microsoft, the error is caused by an incorrectly called
Manifest file:

If the author is no longer addressing these bugs in DynAdvance, does
anyone have a solution on how to fix this? Thanks!
