I had a few questions before I purchased this application... I've sent
a couple of email messages to the support address listed on the site's
"Support" page.

Had I not found this group, I would have considered looking for
another solution, as the only other support option offered there is
the "forum", which doesn't exist.

I'm still bothered by the lack of attention to these details and the
poor support. Perhaps a small price to pay for a keeping the
application updated... *shrug*

Still, for the price... and since this forum exists, I'm still going
to consider purchasing.

Anyhow... I have a few questions:

1. What is the maximum number of accounts that the application will
check? I'm responsible for keeping an eye on nearly 20 of them.

2. Can the timing of the checks be staggered across all accounts (or
per service) and can the timing of the checks be extended / changed on
a per account (and/or per service) basis? In other-words, can I set
it so that it hits 2 of my google every 5 minutes, but the other 4
every 30 minutes - but never hitting google more than once every
minutes; all while hitting yahoo every 10 minutes... and so on?

3. Is Notifier worth the price of admission, or would any of you
recommend another product for keeping an eye on multiple gmail,
hotmail, yahoo, and pop3 accounts?

Thanks!

Fist off let me say that Dynadvance is a great program and the best of all the ones I tired.

Keep in mind that while I really love Dynadvance, the support sucks balls.

To answer your questions;

1. I think there are unlimited accounts

2. You can set it to check however often you want to but the setting is application wide - not specific to each account

3. For $10 you can't go wrong - I think there is a 30 trial so download it first and see if it works for you before paying for it.

The trial is 20 days... I think (mine's about to expire)... and it's
limited to only 3 accounts.

I take it, that that is the only limitation between the paid and trial
versions then.

The old version I've been using had some odd problem when working with
more than 10 accounts, like 10 was the unofficial maximum. That's the
main reason I'm checking. Wish I could remember what the heck the
problem was though. Guess I'll purchase it, use 10 for a week or
two... then add the rest and see what happens.

Thank you for your answers.

Just in case anyone else has questions about the maximum # of
accounts... it does 17 just fine (mix of gmail, yahoo, hotmail, and
pop3).

Well, except the logging in for the hotmail accounts - I still have to
log into those manually.

Too bad I can't adjust the intervals individually per service and/or
per account - that would be nice... perhaps a feature for the
future. :-)
