  I&#39;m not sure what would be causing this. The good news is I know people have &lt;br&gt; used DirectShow with DXFramework before. You should be able to easily stop &lt;br&gt; DXFramework from rendering, like you said that could fix your problem. &lt;br&gt; Perhaps it is easy to create a method on the View class that sets a flag, &lt;br&gt; and test for that flag before proceeding with the Render function.
