Hi

Isn't the govt. just kicking hell out of middle class people rather
than fixing their own problems.. A single LPG cylinder has subsidy of
Rs400 approx. Everyday morning I see atleast 10-20 bicycles,
motorcylce people carrying 5 cylinders each on Dwarka->Gurgaon way.
Obviously they are not taking them to their home.. In Banglore when
they asked for ID proofs etc, 40% of LPG connections were fake.. So
think how much is looted in India overall.. Make everthing with market
price and pay directly to individual bank accounts. If LPG can reach
someone, surely he can open bank account as well..

Diesel prices are not increased for don't know how long and diesel is
highly subsidized.. Same for LPG etc..

Petrol cars are owned by middle class who don't have any voice
anywhere..If u touch anything else, Lalu and Mamta will cry out..I
agree lots of corrupt people won't have issues with this Rs7.5
increase but I am a private sector person who can't earn anything
above my tax paid salary :( so i really feel the pinch..

To hell with this Congress and UPA govt. who has made common man life
a hell.. This MMS at top will again say we can't do much international
etc.. But is this international impact only for Petrol, why not
LPG/Diesel etc???

I know this is a drama and MMS will come in picture and they will
reduce petrol prices by 1Rs to make me happy as if 6Rs to unka hi hak
tha in few days

Mr Krishna ,

increasing LPG and Diesel rates will hit middle class as well as
others who does not own car. SO , I don't think its fair to compare
and ask why Diesel and LPG rates are not increased.

Thanks,
Vinod

The solution is simple go back to our old saying 'tete paon pasariye
jeti lambi ssor'
but what to do in a socalled poor country being looted far in excess
by its own people than done by English
Ms meira kumar spends 10 crores in a yr on foreign visits.this will be
a managed reply and if CAG is asked to look in to it the expenditure
will run in to may be at least 50 crores after including parties, gifts
accomodation etc.
this is the story of most of our
politician,Businessman&Bureaucrats.Every thing is managed by
USA.PEOPLE there work for two hrs on an average and dollar getting
stronger indians slog for more than 12 hrs perday and Rupee going down
and down.It is only the crisis of ability to spk the truth. We the
educated class has betrayed this nation of which there is no match.no
country in this planet earth is bestowed withso much of the natural
gifts.we really do no knowt when theKhalsa in our pm will wake up to
ensure governance.

The best option for people - Stop taking out personal cars (whereever possible). minimise the use.

Use public transport, metro/DTC buses/ Chartered buses/ Pooling.  This will be inconvenient as we are all used to our own space in our own cars....but with the price hitting the roof..and it will continue to rise...i dont think we are left with too many option.

Lets put pressure on public transport. The Govt is harping and issuing notices and WE URGE PEOPLE TO USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT".   So lets use and put pressure.

Dear Mr. Vinod

This is classic case of differential thinking :).. To me, its not fair to petrol consumers. Govt. should not victimize certain section of society just bcoz they are not a vote bank and don't have a voice. This is called systematic extortion of minorities to fulfill the majority needs for no fault of minority on their own.. I am not saying we should increase diesel or LPG, what I am saying is all should be equally treated.. Lets have same %age of subsidy for each of these..  Why not subsidized petrol just like Diesel and LPG????? Are those users paying more tax to this looter govt than petrol consumers.

here is the stats
Petrol price hike will only partially cover the under recoveries on account of kerosene (Rs 31 per litre), diesel (Rs 13.64 per litre) and Rs 479 for each cylinder of LPG.

So on this pretext again if losses incur due to diel and LPG, again they will increase petrol prices..

Why only Petrol is linked with Market and not others.. Are these not linked with International crude price or govt. produces this on its own??.. If all these are also petroleum products then all these should be treated like petrol only and should be linked with Market rate.. Right now what is happening is Petrol users are EXTORTED the money for the losses being occured due to diesel and LPG and other stuff..  There is no subsidy and infact its prices are much higher then International prices..

So I am only saying is linked everything with market and not make Petrol users carry the load of others.. If someone uses diesel, he shud be made to pay for its actual price and not subsidized price..

Pressure on public transport.. Perhaps its already in too much pressure.. Try to travel in Metro or 764 during office time morning and evening. Forget about seats in bus, even standing is a big luxury.

Perhaps nobody likes to drive in a city like Delhi but the public transport is even worst..

Public transport should be there. But whether it is available the place like Dwarka. Some sectors are having few RL services only. That also non-dependable.

Other point is price difference between petrol & diesel. It is a serious issue. People will tend to avoid less polluted petroleum vehicle. In cities like Delhi CNG may be an option, but in other areas people will prefer to buy more polluted diesel vehicle.

I beg to differ with your opinion.  People who work hard are same every where in the World.  Politicians are the same all over the World.

The only big difference is the Law.  Indian Laws are not respected by Indian people.  There is no fear of the law unlike other countries of the World.

Chander
