Friends,

Its nice to see that DDA has acted on some of our emergent reguests to fill the water body and put soil around the exposed roots of the two old trees. We must thank Mr. Prem Chand, Deputy Director, Horticulture for taking quick action. The Forum is proving its worthiness time and again by taking up issues and putting them in discussion.

We shall send DDA  a thank you letter and another  letter signed by local residents demanding action on other fronts having long term implications for the water body and local bio-diversity.

Interesting thing is that the water body has immediately showed improved presence of birds. Many more and newer species of  birds can be seen around now  then when the water body was dry.

It is nice to see the job done by Officers from the Horticulture dept. 

DDA , they took the action and saved this tree along with the water

body . Please keep it up to save our nature by involving the local

people who understand and value it as a part of our life.

we found him very helpful, in fact every sector residents should invite him to your areas on fixed date along with other residents.

If they have done good work appreciate and put forward suggestion for improvment and new demands.

If they have Not done work also call them to give your grievance and get things correct.

 

One of the target for By NEXT MONSOON should we should be able to add another  ONE LAKH TRees to Dwarka.

 

Is that praticly possible?

I join Reji to thanking the named and unnamed persons in this great initiative. I was driving past with my daughters the other day and I parked the car next to the water body - spent 15 minutes sitting there.
