FACE VALUE OF GOVT ASSURANCE IN LOK SABHA

On
12.03.2010, Sh. Mahabal Mishra, MP, Lok Sabha asked about the time by
which the plots to remaining registrants of Rohini Residential Scheme
are likely to be allotted. In reply to this, the Minister told, “DDA has
further informed that 16,000 plots, which are under development in five
sectors in Rohini, would be allotted to the waiting registrants in a
time span of about 18 months”. The time span of about 18 months was over
in Sept. 2011. Now, the Lok Sabha Secretariat in its reply dated 8.5.12 to an RTI
application filed by m k gupta has informed that the reply of the Minister has
not been treated as assurance. If that is the case, what is the value
of the reply by the Govt? Assn. will be grateful if any member can
suggest the next course of action in this context. What else it can be
called than hoodwinking of the Lok Sabha and registrants by the govt.?
