My daughter, Shreya Srinivas, is a student of class X in Bal Bharati School. She started this project at home in the month of Jan 2012 and has been able to convert our home kitchen garbage to manure. She is associated with " Paryavaran Mitra", a NGO and she even got a chance to present the home made manure to Milind Soman  when the Greenathon was flagged off from Delhi.

I request you to bring this up in tomorrow's forum so that residents are made aware of how to take care of a large percentage of garbage that is created by us. I also hope that if more people understand this concept , we can work towards reducing the amount of garbage produced and also change it into an useful product. Being responsible citizens, we can give back something useful to the environment.

The Central Pollution Control Board staff would be coming to Dwarka on
Friday, 11 May 2012 at 9.00 a.m.
to see the garbage uncollected in Dwarka.

Those who are desirous of meeting the CPCB staff and explain them about the
garbage piled up near their societies

Since the meeting is potponed for Friday.
we would like to know the location where huge pile of Garbage uncollected
could be seen on that to show to Central Pollution Control Board.
Please note that this team will be reporting to Hon. Delhi High Court the
findings.

So if you have locations known, may please share it with them in advance .

Also who all would like to accompany them so that it could be coordinated.
This is good opportunity to highlight the matter.
