Dear Friends,

On  9th October 2009  , Hon'ble Jutice S Murlidhar of Delhi High Court
in the case of SAYAR KUMARI VS STATE AND ORS. directed Law Department
of Government of NCT of Delhi to start video recording of all
Registered Wills at all Sub Registrar Offices in Delhi.

After battling with differrent Departments of Delhi Government for 16
months, I could get affirmative YES  after the intervention of CENTRAL
INFORMATION COMMISSION AND NOW  VIDEO RECORDING OF REGISTERED WILL ,
shall start in Delhi in all Sub Registrar's Offices in next two months
( I say next three months )  as per information received from Special
Secreaty (Revenue) , 5 Sham Nath Marg , letter dated 25th April, 2012
addressed to me in response to direction of CIC. Advantage of such
video recording is that in cases where Wills are challenged, there are
mainly two main objections  - Will is not GENUINE and/or  TESTATOR
i.e.WRITER OF WILL HAD NOT WRITTEN HIS WILL WITH FREE MIND I.E. HE WAS
UNDER INFLUENCE OF SOMEONE TO WRITE WILL IN PARTICULAR MANNER ONLY
Such objections in  Courts got delayed decions for years causing
difficulties to  genuine legal heirs. Probably this will stop now.

Please write your WILL and REGISTER SAME AND ALSO GET VIDEO RECORDING
OF WILL AT SUB REGISTRAR,OFFICE  AS AND WHEN IT STARTS.

After registration, u do not need to prove that the will has been signed by the deceased and the witnesses signature are bonafide.  It is advisable to get it registered for avoiding future complications in case of ligitation or challenge to will.
