Buying new cam - PAL or NTSC (not obvious)
|
| |
Hi fellows,
I plan to buy a new camera soon, and I suddenly realized that one
basic decision I have to make is whether I buy a PAL or NTSC model.
Consider the following:
1. I am buying the camera for some shoots I plan to do late this year

FCP question - sudden honking sound

Is it a good idea to just respool the tape from the vhs-c cartridge to a full sized VHS shell for playback and transfer to DVD? Is this as easy as I think it would be? Thanks.... more »

Equipment For Sale

I've been mostly a lurker on DV-L for many years now. Hopefully the
occasional post I've made has proved of some value.
But as time marches on, I find that I no longer am able to be serious
about providing for-pay services and thus have some equipment that no
longer will be used. I'm posting it here before listing on eBay,... more »

DV-L] Anyone editing in AVCHD?
|
| |
Hi there, I'm wondering if someone here can share their experiences editing AVCHD footage. I'm aware that for most editing machines, you will have to use an intermediate codec - the question in my mind is whether you can actually live with all this intermediate codec stuff if you had to edit this format on a daily basis (as opposed to editing footage a... more »
