Maybe, though I bet it's designed to take 120V, and it must be sealed.
Anyway, a bigger problem for people on this list might be the *shape*
of the light it casts. Presumably, like an incandescent, it's made to
throw a lot of light off to the sides; not at all what you want in an
on-camera light. You want all your light to get thrown in a 16X9
rectangle in front.
But I'd love to see LED bulbs replace all our CFLs around the house.
Except that they're going to be lasting many years so it may be a
while.
