With the low water levels this is the year to watch shorebirds.

Nonquon Lagoons: (Fri) shorebirds- 9 species.
Short-billed Dowitcher- 2, Stilt Sandpiper- 1, Pectoral Sandpiper-1,
Greater Yellowlegs-1, Lesser Yellowlegs- 89, Black Tern- 7,
Bonaparte's Gull- 45, and a family of Osprey

Oshawa Second Marsh: (Mon) shorebirds- 8 species.
Short-billed Dowitcher-2, Lesser Yellowlegs- 109,
Greater Yellowlegs-4, and Great Blue Heron- 80

Ruddy Duck-1, Hooded Merganser-2, Black Tern- 21, and Bonaparte's Gull- 90.
shorebird habitat is in the south lagoon. All other lagoons have edge
habitat only.
