CONTRA DANCE SEPTEMBER 10 AT PARK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Location:   Park Elementary School, 510 E.  6th Ave, Durango, CO7:00 - beginner dance instruction. 7:30-10:15 - Contra Dance with Bo y Yo band from Albuquerque, and caller Noralyn Parsons All dances are taught and called.  No partner is necessary, and dancers of all ages and abilities are welcome.  Admission is $10.  First-timers get a pass to come back for free. For further information call 970-385-9292 ***also***  ENGLISH COUNTRY DANCE AFTERNOON AND POTLUCK Before the Contra Dance, the same band and caller will lead an English Country Dance from 3pm to 5 pm. A potluck dinner will follow from 5-6. Lani Graham will host the dance and dinner at her house. 472 Red Oak Lane, Durango, Co 81303  Please bring your favorite main course or significant side dish to thank and nourish the band and caller coming all the way from Albuquerque before the evening dance. It would be appreciated if you can also bring a water bottle and your own dinner plates. Donations will be collected to help pay the band and caller.
