Well it's gettin close to the end of the year, exams are upon many of us so I
think it's time to start winding down, we're going to try and keep the
workshop open Thursday/Saturday up until Xmas but we're going to wind down the
Thursday night talks so for something completely different:

Thursday October 25th 7pm -Pumpkin carving
=======================================

While not a traditional NZ pastime carving pumpkins for Halloween is easy and
fun - I'm going to bring one in and carve it - if you're interested in carving
one yourself bring one along - even though they're out of season they're
available at supermarkets, the bigger the better, also bring a sharp knife and
some newspaper or plastic to catch the pumpkin guts

Saturday October 13th 1pm - open Workshop
=======================================

our usual open workshop

Thursday November 1st 18th 7pm -Open Worksho
========================================================

our usual open workshop

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

There's been some suggestion that we have an end of year event - what do
people think? should we all go out to dinner one night? any other ideas?

Also there's a couple more people starting 3D printers at the moment, if you
feel the urge to build one yourself this might be the time to start - the deal
is the same as always - we'll print you the plastic if you'll promise to print
two copies for others if they ask
