I cannot say how good she is because she never represented me in court, when I was living in Dubai and first started this group, she was very helpful with giving up her time (FREE) to attend group meeting at RERA. What sort of Legal matter do you need help with?

Hi Nigel

I think we've communicated in the past. My issue is regards to an old project with Damac that never got off the ground. It was supposed to be in the Lagoons which itself never got off the ground. 

I was lied to them before and during the times I made instalments. I have had a lawyer look at the case and they're confident they can win. I would prefer to go with someone who has a track record or through recommendation. 

I might send her an email.

I am using the above Law firm for a case against the developer that built the D1 tower, but were 5 years late in completing it. They charge 8% (when they get a judgment and the developer have paid in full) plus direct fees e.g. court fees for filing a case e.t.c..

They should be able to tell you if you have a case and they only take on cases that stand a good chance of winning because they want their 8%.

The other thing is have you checked to see if your development is on the list of cancelled projects if so then Dubai setup a special court committee to deal with these projects.
