Hi,

Quick question -

I'm coupling DTITK normalization with FSL's randomise for scalar
values (FA, norm) to compare groups. I keep getting an artifactual
'ring' around the outside of the brain, reminiscent of a motion
artifact in fMRI. Has anyone else encountered this and found a
solution? I'd like to avoid having to do ICA or something of that
nature. Perhaps there's another program for voxel-based stats I could
use?

This is meant to complement an ROI-based analysis, so I'd rather not
just give up on the voxel-based approach entirely.

Thanks very much in advance!

Bryan

Hi Bryan

Maybe you could apple some mask before group comparison.
Maybe using FA threshold or brain mask will be useful for your research.
