The peaple that nomaly come over to game were not able to make it. So
we ended up playing a three player game with me my wife and another
friend. This was before I knew about the area restriction for
builds. My wife bought the cotton belt at 100 per share and my friend
bought the northern Pacific at 100. There were other purchases but I
didn't record them. The Cotton Belt under my wife on the first turn
built to little rock and bought a two train. the second turn she
built to new orleans though shreveport. She ran for 90 and then
bought another two train. paying out 160 every turn after that. My
friend tried a no train stategy building first to Boise then to
helena before conecting up to minneapolis. The first three wasnt
built till after the fourth operating round of the game. My wife won
the game by a wide margin. Maybe Memphis needs to be down graded back
to yellow.

Well, under the old dispensation, nobody ever bought the Frisco or the
Cotton Belt: now they do. So I'm pretty happy with it, especially since (no
offense) the obvious thing in any 18xx when someone is killing you with
2-trains is, bring on the 4-trains...right?
