Hi all,
It has become clear to me that as Dryad expands, the "Dryad all-hands" meetings increasingly need to deal with issues outside the scope of software development. There is nothing wrong with this, but it does mean that we need to start/resume regular meetings focused on software development. These meetings will be open to everyone, including part-time developers/contractors and external interested parties. They will focus on issues such as:
* in-depth review of current mockups/requirements/specifications/documentation
* closer review of recently-checked in code
* discussion of any issues affecting current development
* review of current development work in DSpace and how it affects us
Initially, I would like to schedule these meetings biweekly. Fridays seem to work best, since both Elena and Cory will be available to join in person. So I would like to propose this Friday at 1pm Eastern. Let me know if you are deeply interested in attending but this doesn't work for your schedule. Also let me know if you are planning to attend remotely.
Current agenda for this week's meeting:
* Updates from the Trello meeting
* Status updates for all items "in development" and "in design"
* Review updates to Cory's UI mockups
* Review current state of design for Dryad/F1000 widget
* Discuss any issues or documentation needs related to our use of GitHub
* Discussion of next meeting schedule
