we are struggeling abit with analysing a visual studio(2012) project which runs in 64-bit mode, it does not seem to be possible and i now it's saays so on the front page of the project's side, but i have a collegua how says he is pretty sure they did exactly that in another project last year.

Could some one please help me with, where to look for information regarding this issue.

Dr. Memory does not yet have official support for 64-bit applications.  This should not be confused with a 32-bit application on a 64-bit operating system kernel, which works fine.

You can try the experimental support by building from sources (64-bit is not included in the release packages) and running with the "-unaddr_only" flag, but while this works for small applications it has some known problems with large applications at this point.  Work on 64-bit support is under way.
