I wish I still had my old Third edition and 3.5 gaming books, sinse there were a lot of really neat things that the Players could do.

You can increase one statistic by one point for every point you take away from another.
EXAMPLE: STR 18 DEX 18 CON 18 INT 12 WIS 12 CHA 12

                                                   GOOD RACES
Humans get an extra Feat at first level and one extra skill point every level. They can also be any Class and Alignment.

Elves are usually Lawful Good - favored Class is Wizard.
Dwarves are usually Lawful Good - favored Class is Priest.
Gnomes are usually Chaotic Good  - favored Class is Bard.
Hobbits are usually Neutral Good - favored Class is Rogue.

                                                   EVIL RACES
Orcs are usually Chaotic Evil- favored Class is Barbarian.
Hobgoblins are usually Lawful Evil- favored Class is Fighter.
Goblins are usually Chaotic Evil- favored Class is Thief.
Kobolds are usually Lawful Evil- favored Class is Priest.
