Spam

it looks like we may need to turn on access control to control who can
post to this group. Spammers are having a heyday. I just marked about
10 threads as spam, all of them being worst kind of spam.

I've removed the spam messages. Spam should be filtered before it
arrives in this group fairly well. Except that the filtering is not
so strict when the messages originate from a group member. And the
problem here was that two spammers had joined this group and were
using their membership to get through the filters. Sorry about that.
They have both been banned. I've also changed how to become a member
of this group. First it was possible to do so without any checks, now
a group manager must approve the membership request. This should
minimize any future problems.
