Derivatives Summary

Nifty (May) futures' premium increased to 8.95 from 6.45 and shed around 5.4 lakh shares in open interest.

The total open interest in the market was 55,671 crore and it added around 839 crore in open interest.
Nifty calls added 1.81 lakh shares and puts added 3.38 lakh shares in open interest.
