Copper: Hits yearly high on strong demand
Spurred by the news of the 18.5% Chinese industrial production growth for January and February that topped analysts' forecast and bettered the December number of 14.5%, copper and nickel witnessed huge rallies. The firm tone was evident in the copper counter right from the start of trading in Asia when the red metal opened with a positive gap.
