Victoria, you should do the main Sunday ride, anything less would be too
slow for you ;) Lexie was out with them last week... the pace was
civilized... on the outward leg it was the same as Adrian's ride... but
they ramped it up a bit on the way back...

Meet at CSG 9.00 for 9.15 depart. Since apparently there are tons of DP
rides now leaving CSG on a Sunday ask for the "main" or "old school"
Sunday ride ;)

(I never go to CSG, meeting the ride later up the road, so I don't know
what chaos reigns up there these days... anyhoo, I'm planning on riding
Saturday so may give Sunday a miss this week)

yes, there was some milling around at CSG last Sun as three rides tried to sort out which ride they were. (Plus the base training ride at Cadence.) The 9.15 Sunday club ride turned out to be a big group with varying intentions that headed out to Ashdown Forest led by Alan (av speed 28.5kph), with a few breaking off early to go to Edenbridge and more splintering over the return leg.

If I'm running a bit late, the junction near West Wickham station is a good place to get to as for me it's about the same ride time directly there as to CSG, enabling me to "cut them off at the pass" and join the group. Mind you with so many different groups there's always the riskj of joining the "wrong" one.

I quite like the sound of a mildly testing gallop, but as I'm doing another long one to Oxford & back on Sat I will more likely be at Cadence this time for for Michael's base/recovery ride.
